Mazzante was a three-time Kodak All-American basketball star at Penn State University, and formerly held the Big Ten scoring record for both men and women. A graduate of Montoursville Area High School, she is a four-time all-state basketball selection and sits in fourth place on the state's all-time scoring list with 3,270 points. She went on to play in the WNBA for seven seasons, winning two WNBA championships.
