Im Mittelalter stand hier 1317 erstmals urkundlich erwähnte "Gressenhof".
Der Renaissancebau stammt aus der 2. Hälfte des 16. Jahrhdts.
Von 1830 bis 1945 "Hotel Mittelsbacher Hof".
Am 16. März 1945 durch Bomben zerstört.
1955 zu den Fürsten zu Castell wiederaufgebaut.
Im Erdegeschoss Puttengruppe von Johann Peter Wagner um 1775.

(English translation:)
In the Middle Ages, here stood the "Gressenhof", first mentioned in written sources in 1317.
The Renaissance-era construction building here was built in the second half of the 16th Century.
From 1830 to 1945 it was the "Hotel Mittelsbacher Hof".
Destroyed by bombs on March 16, 1945.
Reconstructed in 1955 by the Counts of Castell.
On the ground floor, the painting of a group of cherubs is by Johann Peter Wagner, ca. 1775.
