1916-1991
In 1916, the Great Northern Railroad extended their branch line north from Choteau. Mr. James Hill, the president of the railroad had promised his friend L.B. Pendroy he would build a railroad to his home. Since the railroad was never extended across Farmers Coulee, the town was named Pendroy in his honor.HM Number | HM2EJG |
