—Savannah Memorial Park —
Circus pioneer and owner of the J.E. Henry Wagon Show (circus) for over 50 years, traveling all over the United States. Credited with building the very first house trailer as he needed something that traveled easily and that he could live in while traveling. Many circus people wintered in El Monte area in the early days as the mild climate and wide open spaces were at the time ideal for keeping their performing animals.
