E.A. Sherman is recognized as the father of the Sioux Falls park system. To commemorate his work, J.K. Daniels & the Roman Bronze Works of New York was commissioned to create this bronze portrait in 1917. It was rededicated in Honor of the Park Centennial I 2010.
