1911
The J. F. Darmody Company was a candy maker and wholesaler in the Wholesale District. The building stood at 25-27 West Maryland Street on the southwest corner of Maryland and Bird Streets from 1905 to 1990. Originally only three stories tall, the building's three top floors were added in 1911. The Neo-Classical facade features a cast-iron front with Sullivanesque ornamentation. The building was demolished in 1990, but its facade was dismantled, restored, reconstructed and integrated into Circle Centre.HM Number | HM2G11 |
