Fort Pulaski National Monument
With devastating accuracy, Union rifled artillery breached the southeast angle of Fort Pulaski in less than 30 hours. It took Federal troops six weeks to repair the battle damage. For the remainder of the war, Fort Pulaski was a Union outpost in the Deep South.HM Number | HM2H01 |
