Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, this house was built in 1804 for prominent Lancaster attorney William Montgomery by Harrisburg based architect Stephen Hills. The Montgomery House originally contained a rare oval room on the first floor and is a fine residential example of the Early Federal Period.
