Smith's Brigade, - Brigadier General Preston Smith.
Smith's Brigade, - Colonel Alfred J. Vaughan, Jr.
Maney's Brigade, - Brigadier General George Maney.
Wright's Brigade, - Brigadier General Marcus J. Wright.
Strahl's Brigade, - Brigadier General Otho F. Strahl.


This Division was held as a reserve in rear of Stewart and Cleburne until 2 p.m., at which hour it was shifted to the extreme right. Jackson's Brigade had been sent at 11 o'clock to fill a gap on Cleburne's right after the repulse of the latter. The Division took part in the general advance of the right wing.

Jackson's Brigade, supported by Maney's, became sharply engaged, together with Polk's Brigade of Cleburne's Division and Breckinridge's Division, upon the front's of Johnson and Baird, who withdrew hastily to the woods west of the Kelly field, followed to that point by the Confederate line.
