Inscription
Named in honor of Ozro, Johnie,
Burman, Eugene and Lawson Jones,
brothers who grew up in Hartland
in Clay County and served in the
Army during World War II. Burman,
Ozro, and Johnie were killed in
action during the war. After the
war, Eugene remained in the Army
and was killed with 12 others in
a glider crash in 1950. Lawson
later retired from the Air Force.
