Josef Casimir Hofmann, internationallyknown Polish pianist, resided with hiswife, Aikenite Marie Eustis Hofmann, ina three~story house located severalhundred feet west of here. Born nearCracow, Poland, he was recognized as agifted pianist at an early age andconsidered the finest interpreter ofChopin.
