On this site stood the western wall of the Federal Post Office. Designed by Alfred B. Mullet - architect of the Old Executive Office Building in Washington, D.C. - the ornate building's broad north fa?ade faced City Hall, while its sides were angled to form a triangle that followed the contours of Park Row and Broadway.
