Built 1835-1836
These three brick Greek Revival-style stores, built together for different owners, display classic details of the period: granite steps, cornice, and piers and lintels in its trabeated storefront. The brick is laid up in Flemish bond, a style whose popularity was already declining when these buildings were constructed. The stores were built for Peter J. Hart, Gabriel Havens, and David Louderback, a mason who may also have been their builder.HM Number | HMDYB |
