Bragg's Corps, Confederate Army of the Mississippi, leaving its base at Corinth, Miss., the previous afternoon, passed north along this road to join other units for the attack on Federal camps at Shiloh, Apr. 6. Breckinridge's Reserve Corps of three brigades followed, having marched from Burnsville, Miss.
