Vedder Family Cemetery
This historic burial plot contains the remains of descendants of Harmen Albertse Vedder, an original settler of Schenectady. He purchased the land and built a home in 1672. Harmen died around 1715 and is probably buried here.

After purchasing this site from Harmen's great-grandson, Johannes Vedder, Colonel Daniel David Schermerhorn Campbell replaced the home with a 26-room mansion in 1832.
