Inscription
Private residence, built before 1728 by William Harvey. This house was leased 1750 by his Excellency James Glenn, Governor of the Province until purchased in 1756 by Ralph Izard planter. A century later, 1858, Izard descendants sold it to Judge Mitchell King in whose family it remained until 1977.
