Designated Landmark · New York City
Built between 1836 and 1842 as a country seat for Robert Bartow, descendant of Thomas Pell who established the Manor of Pelham here in 1654, this house is one of the finest examples of the late Federal style in the country. It was restored by the International Garden Club in 1914. The handsomely furnished interiors are Greek Revival in style and overlook the beautiful formal gardens.HM Number | HMLEO |
