Landmarks Of New York
— Federal Style Row Houses —
Built of brick laid in Flemish Bond, these three buildings, all listed in city directories prior to 1830, are among the best surviving examples of Federal Style row houses of the early nineteenth century. An underground tunnel, lighted by a skylight paving near the gate to No. 157, leads from No. 159 to a post-Civil War stable.HM Number | HMMIT |
