This Plaque is Dedicated to
John J. Donovan, Jr.

who was a leading figure in Washington, D.C. commercial real estate development for over three decades (mostly with Oliver Carr Companies) until his retirement in 2005. John directed the design and development for many of our city's finest Class A office buildings, with a special emphasis on those projects which incorporated and harmonized both historic and contemporary elements. Thus it is fitting that he be honored here in this exceptional building where, in collaboration with his great friend Douglas Jemal, he applied his expertise as he prepared to conclude his career.
