Willow Point
On this site the ferry service which gives this village its name was begun by the family of John Dobbs, who settled here in 1698. It was operated by his son William, who lived here at Willow Point, and later by his grandson, Abraham, until 1759. After that, several other families operated a ferry until well into the 20th century.
Dedicated in their honor by the Village of Dobbs Ferry, July 4, 1983
