11th La., 22d Tenn., 13th Tenn., 12th Tenn.,
Clark's (1st) Div., Polk's Corps,
Army of the Mississippi.

This brigade became engaged here about 9 a.m. April 6, 1862. The 11th La. and 22d Tenn., cooperating with regiments on right of brigades of Cleburne, Anderson and Johnson in an attack directly in front, while the 13th Tenn. Moved to the right and attacked Waterhouse's battery upon its left flank. The 12th Tennessee passed to the right and joined Stewart's Brigade.
