1922 ~ 1952
Central School was erected on this site by a group of public spirited men and women who desired quality education for the children who lived in this area. The school offered educational opportunities for young people, grades one through eleven and also served as a community center.Central was consolidated with Ashwood School in 1952. The building was then named West Lee and was used as an elementary school until 1962.
