(reconstructed)

By early February 1754, the Brothers decided to build a sleeping hall to help relieve the crowded conditions in the Wagner Cabin. The 13'x50' interpretive reconstruction uses post-and-log construction techniques, with fence rails for the walls. This method of construction represents a transition between log buildings of the early settlement and the timber frame buildings built later in the fort area.

"We began to build a new sleeping room."
