Inscription
George Sterling's romantic, lyrical poetry won him the unofficial title of poet laureate of San Francisco. Jack London was his close friend and Ambrose Bierce, his mentor. Sterling's charisma and high spirits inspired fellow writers and artists to dub him "King of Bohemia."
