Calle del Correo
Originally located between Granada Avenue and Church Street during Arizona's territorial period, "Post Office Street," was where postmaster and mayor, Mark Aldrich (b.1801 - d.1873) lived and worked. The southwestern half of the street was alternatively called Pearl Street after a madam who ran a brothel south of Pennington Street. In 1872, the name was changed to Ott Street to honor Sheriff Hylor Ott (b.1830-d.1881).HM Number | HM1BWV |
