Walking Through Donegal

— Ag Si—l Tr—d Dh—n na nGall —

The sea has always been a central part of the lives of the people who live in this area. Fishing once provided an important source of income for many local families. However, today the industry is in steady decline. Donegal Bay, once busy with boats of all sizes, now supports only minimal fishing activity.

Is p?irt l?rnach do shaol na ndaoine a ch?na?onn sa cheantar seo an fharraige. Chuidigh an teacht isteach ? thionscal na h-iascaireachta go m?r le m?r?n de na teaghlaigh ?iti?la l? den saol. T? an tionscal ag meath go m?r sa l? at? inniu ann, ?fach. N?l ach f?or bheag?n iascaireacht ag tarl? i mB? Dh?n na nGall anois ?it a bh?odh soithigh iascaireachta de gach m?id ag saothr?.
