Village of Kewaskum, Wisconsin

This Queen Anne Victorian home, with a gabled roof and large wrap around porch, was built in 1894 by Louis Brandt, local carpenter/contractor, and was originally owned by William Hausman, M.D. The porch has lattice work design with spindle banister rails on both the first and second levels as well as the balcony on the third level.

This home is one of the original large Victorian homes on Fond du Lac Avenue in Kewaskum. The chimney corbelling has been rebuilt and replicated in its original height and brickwork design. The triangular gables are accented with colorful fish scale detail. The porches and siding have been updated to reflect the original design.

The home's interior has most of its original oak woodwork, and the flooring has unique inlaid designs. The interior front door has two engraved deer in the glass panels.

An existing two-story carriage house, shared by the Hausmann families, is located in the rear yard of the property.
