Inscription
Site of early grist mill constructed in 1842 by Robert Brown. Successively operated by Eli Herr, Abraham Gantz, Daniel Blocher, Alexander Burns and Oscar King. Destroyed by fire in 1888. The residence of Daniel C. Fisher M.D. was constructed on this site in 1939. Plaque erected by the Historical Society of the Town of Clarence in memory of Daniel C. Fisher M.D. in 1975
