In the Fifties, this area featured rides like Boats and Turtles, which later movd to today's Kiddie City. The original Goofy House was first a dark walk-thru, and later had a rotating barrel, 2-story slide, moving stairs, and tilted room - plus the standard fun house mirrors. The Penny Arcade had many unique machines, including the old Photo Booth, Doraldina fortune teller and Donkey Gold Mine. The Ghost Train became the Enchanter, and later the Rifle Range electronic shooting gallery. The Lunchbox Restaurant (seen in the distance) included a walk-up stand and screened indoor service area, and featured some great cooking by Fred Fried (pronounced Freed), the park's paprika-loving chef.
