Born and raised in Latrobe, Mister Rogers was the creator, composer, host, and puppeteer of the award-winning TV program Mister Rogers' Neighborhood (1968-2001). The program, produced at WQED in Pittsburgh, emphasized kindness, compassion, and learning.
