Stopped in a building two hundred yards west of here known as Peter's Tavern
—Thursday June 30, 1791. —Originally erected 1932 by the Federation of Rural Women's Clubs of Frederick County, MD., as part of a national movement to commemorate the bicentennial of Washington's birth through recognizing places noted in his diary.
