(1879-1927)
Patton began his hauling business with two mules and grew to become a prominent real estate entrepreneur and contractor, building many area roads and schools. Patton purchased this site in 1900. According to oral tradition, he commissioned architect George Rogers to construct this Mediterranean style home. It presently serves as the parsonage for Stewart Memorial C.M.E.
