Fuente de NeptunoConstruida en 1797 por el arquitecto Francisco Eduardo Tresguerras, esta fuente fue inicialmente montada en el terreno de la huerta del convento de San Antonio, en lo que hoy son las calles de Corregidora y 16 de Septiembre. Su diseño, que escenifica al dios Neptuno, contaba con hermosos colaterales que le fueron removidos en 1848. Fue finalmente trasladada a este lugar en 1909.English:Fountain of NeptuneConstructed in 1797 by the Mexican architect Francisco Eduardo Tresguerras, this fountain was initially installed on the land of the orchard of the convent of San Antonio, on what are today the streets of Corregidora and 16 de Septiembre. Its design, which showcases the god Neptune, included beautiful ornamentations which were removed in 1848. It was finally moved to this location in 1909.
