Commemorating the 120th anniversary of the arrival of John Garrett and Abraham Dyson and families, first settlers among the Wyandot Indians.

1804 - Silver Creek received its name
1805 - First grist mill and saw mill erected
1874 - Village incorporated
1886 - Saloons abolished

The best blood of New England came to this part of the Western Reserve, in later generations to furnish many defenders of the nation, as well as foremost leaders in religion, education, philanthropy and art.
