Mary and James Carley House

Built on land granted in 1662 to Jacques Van Slyck, son of a Mohawk woman, Otstoch, and Cornelius Van Slyck. Site of Van Slyck's tavern 1671. Structure replaces the buildings destroyed in the Great Fire of 1819.
