On this corner stood the Grand Old House with its beautiful flower garden. It was built and planted by Israel and Charlotte Cox Heaton in 1913.
This couple are of elite pioneer heritage. In the Grand Old House they hosted many family gatherings as well as dignitaries from church and community.
