Additional InformationThe area that was Wallaceville is marked by a Michigan Historical marker for the location of Wallaceville School & Cemetery 1824-1966. The marker can be seen from Kinmore St. to the N, but not from the road to the S of location. The school building and cemetery can be seen from roads on N and S sides. The cemetery is a closed cemetery with no sexton. It is one of the area's oldest cemeteries and was once located on the Sylvester Losey farm. The "old Wallaceville School", (Little Red Schoolhouse) is on the property. This building can be viewed from behind the fence only.
