— Home of the Dorchester County Historical Society —

The David and Polly Robbins Heritage Center, opened in 2007, features exhibits on Native Americans, hunting and trapping, local Dorchester County industry, including both canning and seafood. The workshop of Ron Rue, a local and internationally known decoy carver, shows how decoys are made. The work of other Dorchester County carvers is also on display. The Center also houses a Collection and Research Center and space for meetings and lectures.
