 Monumento a José MartíEste monumento cuyo autor es el escultor Poube, fue donado por el Afejismo (organización masónica cubana), e instalado en el Bosque el 28 de enero de 1953, como símbolo de los vínculos establecidos entre Cuba y México durante los últimos 50 años.En el monumento se señalan las fechas conmemorativas del nacimiento y la muerte de José Martí.
English translation:Monument to José Martí This monument, whose author was the sculptor Poube, was donated by the Afejismo (Cuban Masonic organization), and installed in the Chapultepec Forest on January 28, 1953, as a symbol of the links established between Cuba and Mexico during the last 50 years. The monument marks the commemorative dates of the birth and death of José Martí.
