Honor Certificate

This is to certify thatCitizens of Bingham Canyon, Utahby helping make possible the erection of a permanent shrine on the submerged hull of the U.S.S. Arizona at Pearl Harbor, has honored the 1,102 naval heroes of 7 December 1941 who lie entombed there, that we the living may glorify the sacrifice of those who died for the peace and security of mankind.

Somewhere in the Pacific where the days are long,Somewhere in Europe where the war was strong,Lie the bodies of 328,000 American Soldiers, Sailors and Marines.

This plaque was placed in honor of the ones who fought and fell for their flag and country in World War II by the people of Bingham District, July 4, 1946.
