Robert F. Stockton, U.S. Navy, Commander-in-
chief, Brig. Gen. Stephen W. Kearney, U.S. Army,
and Californians commanded by General
Jose Maria Flores.

Structure erected by the City of Montebello,
plaque placed by Board of Supervisors of
the County of Los Angeles, June 8, 1944.
