Major General Thomas L. Crittenden, USA 1819-1893
Crittenden, born in Russelville, Kentucky, was a lawyer before the war, and served as US Council in Liverpool, England. He joined the military and fought in the Mexican War. He commanded the 21st Corp at Chickamauga. After the war he served as State Treasurer in Kentucky, and as a Colonel in the infantry between 1866-81.
