— Turner/Chew/Carhart Farmstead —
The nearby Union Ironworks built this house in 1760 as the residence of the superintentent . Enlarged in the 1830s, it was purchased by the State of NJ in the 1960s , when the reservoir was being built. It is now open as a historical museum.HM Number | HM1QR6 |
