Drafted tenth overall by the Brewers in 1999, Sheets pitched eight seasons in Milwaukee, earning four All-Star selections and winning 10-plus games seven times. Enjoyed best season in 2004 when he finished third in the Majors in strikeouts (264) and fourth in ERA (2.70). In 2008, Sheets played a key role in the club's long-awaited return to the postseason, earning 13 wins and recording a 3.06 ERA - fifth lowest in the National League. That same season, Sheets became the first Brewers pitcher to start an All-Star Game. Set franchise record by striking out 18 batters on May 16, 2004 against the Atlanta Braves.
