Milwaukee Braves, 1953-1959
Born in Boyceville, Wisconsin. A solid hitting and good defensive outfielder who finished a 17-year Major League career with seven seasons in Milwaukee. Batted .297 with 17 home runs in 1953 as the only Wisconsin native on the Braves roster. Appeared in 658 games and 10 World Series contests for Milwaukee.
