ca. 1815 Logan County
Originally built by Archibald Felts on land near the Gasper River, this log house had remained relatively unchanged over the years. Recognized as a fine example of regional craftsmanship, it was moved here in 1980. Important characteristics include the traditional V-notch and dogtrot construction and the unusual handmade moldings, paneling, and forged hardware.HM Number | HMW29 |
