Schulhaus Eselstall

Das Haus wurde 1662 von den Ursulinen als Schulhaus f?r den M?dchenunterricht erworben.
1739 teilweise neu errichtet. Im Erdgeschoss am L?wengraben Stallungen, welche dem Haus wahrscheinlich den Namen gegeben haben.

Das Haus dient noch heute als Schulhaus.

German-English translation:

The building was purchased in 1662 by the Ursuline Sisters as a school for girls. Partially rebuilt in 1739. The lower floor on the L?wengraben ("Lion's Ditch") side of the building contained stables, which probably was the source of the school's name. The house is still used as a school house today. The pedestrian way to the L?wengraben, called the "Donkey Walk", was installed in 1966.
