The Salt Stores located Rue de la Ville are large stone buildings erected at the end of the 17th century. Most of the stones came from the former fortification. It was possible to store 10 000 tons of salt inside which was used in particular for the cod fishing expeditions in Newfound Land. Nowadays it's protected as an « Historical Monument » and it welcomes cultural events: exhibitions, festivals...

Open since 2004, this large park which is the Garden of the Fame invites you on a journey along the Seine Estuary and throughout Honfleur's History. It has been dedicated to Honfleur celebrities. You would meet there Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet, Charles Baudelaire, Erik Satie, Samuel de Champlain...
This garden was imagined by Michel Lamarre, mayor of Honfleur. During his childhood, he used to go for a walk along the sea walls with his father and grandfather. They told him Honfleur's history and that why he wanted to share it, in his way, with this garden.
