Birthplace and early home of Dr. Henry Harbaugh, Pennsylvanian German author, theologian and educator,
1817-1867.
One hundred yards southeast is site of the old school house at the creek.
"Today it is just twenty years
since I began to roam.
Now safely back I stand once more
beside the old schoolhouse door
close by my father's home."
