Wheelock Bandstand

Completed in 1980 at the site of the original 1867 bandstand of the cavalry depot and later the Carlisle Indian School. Named in honor of Dennis Wheelock, who graduated from the Indian School in 1890, and was the school's first Indian bandmaster. Dedicated during the celebration of the Carlisle Indian School Centennial.
